Chris O'Neill is an accomplished technology executive and angel investor/advisor with a passion for scaling businesses, using data to make decisions, and building amazing teams that deliver phenomenal results.
Currently CEO at Evernote, the company that is creating tools for an increasingly global and mobile modern workforce.
Prior to Evernote, O’Neill held a variety of leadership roles at Google, coaching multiple teams to success at Google [X], Google Canada, and within Google’s Business Organization.
As Managing Director of Google Canada, he oversaw all aspects of Google’s operations in Canada and served on the Americas’ Executive Management Group. Under his leadership, Google Canada more than doubled its business and team, and was awarded both the #1 Best Place to Work and the #1 most innovative brand in Canada.
O’Neill is a former member of the boards of directors of Tim Hortons (NYSE: THI), Shop.org, and the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA). He is currently a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a Charter Member of the C100, and is a former member of the Canadian Council for Chief Executives (CCCE).
He is a respected thought leader and frequent speaker at industry events on the topics of innovation, wearables, leadership, digital media, integrated marketing, e-commerce, and technology.
O’Neill graduated from Western with a B.A. in Economics (with distinction) and holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
