Western Alumni Serves

Our Global Commitment Beyond The Gates

Western Alumni Serves – a community service initiative – provides opportunities for you to volunteer and connect with other alumni while giving back to our communities.

Recent activities of Western Alumni Serves include:

  • Planting 420 trees with ReForest London at South West Optimist Park in London, Ont.
  • Lending a hand to build a house through Habitat for Humanity in Toronto
  • Serving the Midnight Exam Breakfast to students studying for final exams

If you have a project that you would like to include in the listing and are looking for volunteers, please complete the registration process described below.

I would like to LEAD a Western Alumni Serves Project

    Thank you for your interest in leading a Western Alumni Serves initiative.

    Please review our guiding principles to ensure your project meets the requirements of Western Alumni Serves. Your project must:

    • Be led by Western alumni
    • Provide hands-on opportunities for people of all ages
    • Specify tasks that can be completed on the day of service
    • Be free or of minimal charge
    • Provide social time for student and alumni interaction
    • Not involve fundraising

    If your idea meets these requirements, read our Guide for Project Leaders and complete the Western Alumni Serves Project Leader Form.
