Dr. Paul Davenport, Western’s President Emeritus, has led a group of Western Kinesiology students cycling in France each year since 2007. Now retired and living in France, he continues to share his passion for cycling, jazz, Impressionist art and all things French. This is Western Alumni’s eighth annual trip cycling trip in France.

This is designed for physically active alumni and friends who can bike up an average of 38 km a day for seven days. The time on the bikes is broken during the day for a sandwich lunch and visits to the various sites.

You will enjoy the hilly countryside of the Dordogne region, with overnight stays in Sarlat, Montingac and Rocamadour concluding with three nights in Paris. A highlight of this trip is the visit to the prehistoric cave paintings of Lascaux II.

Join fellow alumni and friends to learn about the culture, food and wine of Dordogne and Paris.

If you have interest in this trip, please email discovertheworld@uwo.ca to be added to our list and receive the pricing as soon as it is available.
