Spend nine nights in Paris following In the Footsteps of the Impressionists. This extraordinary tour has been custom designed by Dr. Paul Davenport to explore Paris and the suburbs as well as other attractions in this extraordinary city.

Highlights include visits to the Orangerie and D'Orsay museums, a guided tour of Opera Garnier and lunch at the Restaurant Fournaise, famously recognized in Renoir's painting "Lunch at the Restaurant Fournaise".

Examine the life and works of Van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise and of Monet in Giverney. This is a moderately paced tour with ample time for individual exploration and food and cultural experiences.

Dr. Paul Davenport was President of Western University from 1994 to 2009.  In 2004 he began teaching courses in Continuing Studies at Western and at the University of Toronto entitled In the Footsteps of the Impressionists.  Since 2007 he has led student and alumni bike tours in France, in Touraine, the Loire Valley, Provence, and Dordogne.  He also leads walking tours of Paris; this will be the fourth.  He lives in Tours, France, with his wife Josette.
