Western celebrates Hong Kong Convocation

HONG KONG – Forty-three undergraduates and post-graduates celebrated the culmination of their time at Western as the university held its 11^th annual Hong Kong convocation ceremony May 31 in the Chancellor Room in the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Centre, located in the heart of Hong Kong right by the Victoria Harbour. Amit Chakma, Western president; Janice Deakin, provost and vice-president (academic); Kelly Cole, vice-president (external); and deans Brian Timney, Social Science, and Robert Kennedy, Ivey Business School, joined the celebration.
